OKM's Student Support Services provide a multifaceted approach to meeting all students' personal and learning needs. Our aim is to help each student function to his/her potential. ​


Indigenous Education:

O​ur Advocate assists and supports Indigenous Students and families, and acts as a liaison between the school and the home.​

Counselling​:

We offer a variety of services to students, parents and staff. We do personal counselling, crisis intervention as well as course and postsecondary planning.​

Drug and Alcohol Support:

 

ARC Counsellors work within the schools to provide on -site, immediate support to youth.

International Education​ & English Language Learner Support:

We support our visiting International students and provide English Language Support for visiting and graduating students for whom English is a second language.

​Learning Assistance:

Supports students who face academic challenges or who need adaptations put into place to enable them to be academically successful.​

Resource Programming:

We provide special education services to ensure that all students have equal access to learning.  The resource department consists of two resource teachers and a team of certified education assistants.  The department provides services to diverse learners to ensure that all students have equal access to learning
