  • It is day 4 of the Hunger Games. Those tributes who are out, better luck next year. Those who still remain...may the odds be ever in your favour...remember, it is the tributes with the most tags still left on Friday after lunch that will be crowned the victors!

  • Reminder to grade 11 and 12 students who signed an intent for for Work Experience to please see Mrs. Robinson in the Counselling Centre before the end of this week!
  • Attention Grad Council: Write * this * down!! .All members MUST attend "Presidential Candidate" speeches on Tuesday September 28th, beginning at 8:00 am in the OKM theatre. Attendance is mandatory! In order to vote, you must attend the morning session, the lunch hour session, and the brief after school session. Attendance will be taken. All information for this and other grad council information can be found on the Grad Council page located on OKM's website under 'Student'.

All proceeds will go to one of three chosen charities that focus on environmental action like the Breakfast Club of Canada, Ecotrust Canada, and Water First. We look forward to serving you!"

  • Congratulations to the Sr. Girls Volleyball team for winning a bronze medal at the UBC Vancouver Invitational volleyball tournament against some of the top volleyball teams in the province.​
  • Today is election day in Canada and OKM is offering all students a chance to vote in a Student Vote! Who would you like to see run the government. Come out and vote at break and lunch. Teachers: There is lots of room for your classes to come and vote this morning.

  • Parking passes for Grade 12 students only will be handed out Monday and Tuesday this week at lunch in the Dance Room. You will need to bring a valid N drivers license and your vehicle registration. Get a pass so you don't get a sticker on your windshield or towed.
